TOPEKA, Kan. (April 11, 2019) -- Partner support continues to grow for the Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials National Tour presented by Hagerty and Tire Rack Time Trials Nationals presented by Hagerty as Yokohama Tire becomes the latest company to step up and provide backing for those taking part in events planned this year.
With the new “#OnYokohamas” incentive program, participants can earn a $75 discount on entry fees to this year’s nine Time Trials events by participating on Yokohama Tires, regardless of finishing position.
“The reimagined SCCA National Time Trials program recognizes that competitors strive for their best in different ways, and the incentive program recognizes those efforts independent of finishing position or specific results,” said Heyward Wagner, SCCA’s Senior Director of Marketing and Experiential Programs.
To take advantage of the incentive program, drivers need to pre-register for the Yokohama program online through the https://timetrials.scca.com/products portal. They then become eligible for the entry discount as long as they utilize any of Yokohama’s tires, available online through Tire Rack, on their competition car (all four tires) and have Yokohama stickers on both sides of their vehicle. Tech Officials at each event will then make sure those registered for the program have indeed met program requirements.

Drew Dayton, Yokohama motorsports manager, noted that the tire manufacturer has a deep commitment to motorsports. Yokohama currently lends support to the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama, the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama, Super Lap Battle, Global Time Attack, Tire Rack One Lap of America, the Porsche Pikes Peak Trophy, 24 Hours of Lemons, the Spec MX-5 Challenge and Yokohama Sonora Rally.

The Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials National Tour presented by Hagerty kicks off at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, California on April 13-14 and visits Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Oregon, Colorado, Kansas, Michigan and Connecticut. The Tire Rack Time Trials Nationals presented by Hagerty finale then takes place September 27-29 at NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
